Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: September 7, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of Filmraising.com and your purchase of tickets, making of donations, or participation in fundraising events organized through Filmraising LLC ("Filmraising," "we," "us," or "our").
By using our website, purchasing tickets, or making a donation through a Filmraising event page, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Filmraising
Filmraising LLC provides fundraising event services that help participating organizations raise money through private movie theater events and related fundraising activities.
Participating organizations may include schools, athletic teams, booster clubs, parent organizations, clubs, charities, and other groups.
2. Ticket Purchases
Tickets purchased for Filmraising events are valid only for the event, date, time, and location identified on the applicable event page or ticket.
Customers are responsible for reviewing event information before completing a purchase.
Ticket availability may be limited, and Filmraising does not guarantee that tickets will remain available for any particular event.
3. All Sales Are Final
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except when an event is canceled or rescheduled as described below.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they are able to attend the event before purchasing tickets.
Failure to attend an event does not entitle the purchaser to a refund.
4. Event Cancellation
If a Filmraising event is canceled and is not rescheduled, ticket purchasers will receive a refund of the ticket purchase price.
Filmraising will provide cancellation information using the contact information associated with the ticket purchase when reasonably possible.
5. Event Postponement or Rescheduling
Filmraising events may occasionally need to be postponed or rescheduled because of circumstances involving the theater, participating organization, weather, emergencies, or other circumstances.
If an event is rescheduled, tickets purchased for the original date will automatically remain valid for the new date.
If a purchaser cannot attend the rescheduled date, the purchaser may request a refund by contacting Filmraising at support@filmraising.com.
Instructions and any applicable deadline for requesting a refund will be provided when the rescheduled date is announced.
6. Event Information
Filmraising makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate information regarding event dates, times, locations, movies, and other event details.
Event details may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside Filmraising's reasonable control. Customers should review communications regarding their event before attending.
7. Theater and Venue Rules
Filmraising events take place at independently operated movie theaters or other venues.
All attendees must comply with the applicable theater or venue's rules, policies, safety requirements, and standards of conduct.
The theater or venue may refuse admission or require an individual to leave for violating its rules or engaging in disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, or inappropriate behavior.
Filmraising is not responsible for concessions, parking, theater facilities, or other products or services independently provided by the venue.
8. Children and Minors
Children and minors attending Filmraising events remain the responsibility of their parent, legal guardian, or supervising adult.
Filmraising does not provide childcare or supervision of minors at events unless expressly stated otherwise.
Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether a particular movie or event is appropriate for their children.
9. Donations and Processing Fees
Certain Filmraising movie-event pages may provide an opportunity to make an optional donation in support of the participating organization.
Donations are voluntary and are separate from the purchase of an event ticket.
Filmraising retains 0% of donations made in connection with these movie fundraising events.
A payment processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per donation is added to the donor's transaction to cover payment processing costs. This processing fee does not benefit Filmraising or the participating organization.
The amount designated as the donation benefits the participating organization, subject to the terms and requirements applicable to the fundraiser and payment processor.
Donations are generally non-refundable except in cases of processing error, duplicate transactions, or when otherwise required by law.
10. Payments and Third-Party Services
Filmraising may use third-party providers to process ticket purchases, donations, and other transactions.
By completing a transaction, you may also be subject to the applicable third-party provider's terms and privacy policies.
Filmraising does not directly store complete payment card numbers entered through third-party payment processors.
11. Electronic Communications
By purchasing a ticket, making a donation, or contacting Filmraising, you consent to receiving communications reasonably necessary to administer your transaction or event.
These communications may include purchase confirmations, receipts, event information, reminders, cancellations, rescheduling notices, refund information, or responses to customer-service inquiries.
Filmraising does not use ticket purchaser or donor email addresses for unrelated promotional marketing unless the individual separately agrees to receive such communications.
12. Acceptable Use

You may not interfere with the operation or security of the website, attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or information, or misuse Filmraising's name, content, or services.

Movie titles, theater names, school names, team names, logos, and other third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
14. Third-Party Websites and Services
Filmraising.com may contain links to third-party websites or services, including ticketing platforms, payment processors, theaters, or participating organizations.
Filmraising is not responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices, or independent services of those third parties.
15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Filmraising will not be responsible for delays, interruptions, postponements, or other failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, emergencies, governmental actions, power or technology failures, theater closures, or similar circumstances.
If such circumstances result in an event being canceled or rescheduled, the cancellation and rescheduling provisions above will apply.

18. Governing Law
